Spyro the Turtle moves real slow
He wants to win the race, but his legs won’t go
So he stands up tall and he wiggles his tail
And he says “Hey, I may not win, but I’m gonna beat the snail.”

And he starts to crawl
And he crawls some more
He’s crawling good
Across the floor

And then Sypro the Turtle sees that snail
He’s way up ahead but Sypro’s not gonna fail
He says, “I can do it and I will not be beat”
And to everyone’s surprise he stands up on two feet.

And now he runs
And he runs some more
He’s running good
Across the floor

And then Sypro the Turtle takes a big leap
And everyone is hoping that he lands on his feet
He’s way up in the air, the finish line is on the ground
And guess where he lands when his feet touch down

Sypro the Turtle finished the race
And because of his hard work he wasn’t in last place
He said he could do it and that he wouldn’t fail
And his determination helped him beat the snail!
